Asks Huntington, on behalf of the board of directors of the canal company, to superintend the improvements in Wood Creek, between the third lock created in 1802 and the lock at Rome, to propose to Mr. Wright that he conduct a survey of the Mohawk River between Schenectady and Rome, and to find out if stone and lime for the construction of locks in Wood Creek can be obtained from Fish Creek, if stone be preferable to wood.
